Bulbs have caught up with technology and you can now buy them in a range of colour temperatures. As well as the brightness, the colour temperature of your lightbulb will affect the way a room feels. We urge you to think about the function of the space you are lighting and choose your bulb temperature to suit the purpose of the room.

Daylight Temperature 

Kelvin temperatures of 4600K-6500K produce a crisp colour similar to that of daylight. These lights will will brighten up a space with clarity and are best when maximum illumination is required, for example security lighting, display cases, warehouses and industrial areas.

 

Cool White

Kelvin temperatures of 3,100-4,500k throw a cool white light ideal for bathrooms or kitchens.

LED lights in the 3100K-4500K cool white range are bright and vibrant lights that are perfect for workspaces like basements, factories and hospitals.

 

Warm White

Kelvin temperatures of 2000K-3000K produce a warm white light great for general indoor lighting in both homes and businesses. Calm and inviting for creating ambience in bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. The perfect choice for creating a relaxing environment throughout your home.
